Applications

The proposed project is aimed at the implementation of a product (sensors) and a remote environmental monitoring service (application) that constitute a decision-support tool for organizations and enterprises, that relate to water quality and availability. Indicative organizations interested in monitoring surface water qualitative and quantitative parameters are:

  • Directorates for Water, Environment, Civil Protection and Rural Development of the Regions,
  • Special Secretariat for Water of the Ministry of the Environment – Municipal Water Supply and Sewerage Enterprises,
  • Dam Operators and Local Land Improvement Organizations,
  • Public Power Company, NGOs, Private consultants, Scientists, Students, etc.

HCMR – INSTITUTE OF MARINE BIOLOGICAL RESOURCES AND INLAND WATERS

Institute of marine biological resources and inland waters is a public research institute focusing on marine and inland water ecosystems.
IMBRIW pursues science-based conservation and management of aquatic ecosystems;
it provides scientific guidance to decision makers and supports public awareness and education for conserving marine and inland water environments.
