On 13/2/2019, HCMR installed an experimental, automatic water quality monitoring station at the mouth of the Pikrodafni stream developed at the Laboratory Center of Natural Sciences (EKEFE).
The node is low cost and open technology and records every 5 minutes pH, water temperature, dissolved solids and dissolved oxygen data. The data is uploaded via a GPRS network to a HCMR server every 15 minutes and is available at http://netmon-noc.ath.hcmr.gr/pikrodafni/
